After you have applied etch-resistant material (Press 'n' Peel Blue in this case), it's time to etch away the copper from the rest of the board.
Here's what you will need:
A plastic container of some sort. This cannot be metal, and it should be something that you will use for no other purpose.
At least one rubber glove
At least one fx circuit board that is ready to etch
A pen or pencil
Ferric Chloride etchant (available at Radio Shack)
Heat source (150W bulb in this case)
